Core Course Week. The week where class becomes less awkward, where friend groups are made, and of course - where we get an in-depth dive into our core course.
International Business has already had so much to offer in this short study tour week. I saw a side of Danish corporate business's that are currently thriving in National markets - LEGO, ECCO, Maersk, Fuglsang Brewery, Danfoss, and Carlsberg - all which are headquartered in Denmark. We were able to hear from Vice Presidents, Senior Marketing Managers, Brewery Owners, Senior Strategy Advisors, and International Business A's very own Professor - Neils Hald, CEO of the Danish Brewer's Association. Getting plugged into these well-known brands for the day broadened my knowledge base of all these different industries and allowed me to hear and actually see how these companies were run. Absolutely one of the best core courses to take... so far. But I'm anticipating it only going up from here! This week wasn't all work. We lived up to the motto - work hard, play hard.
This week has made me SO excited for the long study tour coming up in a few weeks to Berlin and Prague!
