Believe it or not, I am actually going to study during my time abroad. Sure, my last few posts have been all about the social and emotional aspects of study abroad, but this week the "study" aspect sure entered the picture. My professors teach my classes on the side of their main jobs, so we are able to get current, applicable knowledge on the work force us students are entering in the next couple of years. I've already traveled to an Ad Agency in Copenhagen with my class - what other program has full-time specific job employees giving students a direct look into the work force? It's such a treat. Already in the full swing of homework and readings. and there is still time to explore more of this city. Don't worry - it wasn't all work this week! Here are this week's Friday Favorites. Favorite Evening Activity (Boating along the canals of Copenhagen... enough said. Grab a couple of friends and go rent a boat for two hours at FriendShips. Bring food and drinks, and have a blast!) Favorite Market (Has everything from gelato - fresh meats and fish - baked goods - fresh juice - and green plants. The best place to go a pick up fresh produce or a quick pastry before heading to Nørreport to catch the train home.) Favorite Study Nook - so far (I work best in coffee shop settings. Given the coffee shop "The Living Room" is a little too living roomish for me, they have a great little bar top to study.) Favorite Street Corner Item (My soft spot for flowers is just getting worse here. So many flowers vendors on the city street corners just screaming my name.)

There are so many treasures and wonders in this city - and every European city for that matter. 'Friday Favorites' will be a weekly post where I can share a few of my favorite things. Enjoy! Favorite Street (Nothing is more perfect than Nyhavn - peep the picture under my blog title) Favorite Facade (anything light pink is automatically my favorite) Favorite Store Decor (Notre Dame is Copenhagen version of Anthropologie home.... dangerous) Favorite Castle (I will have a new favorite castle each new castle I see - Rosenborg is beautiful)
